Dr. Yumna Subhani is a Periodontist at Mountain View Periodontics. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Utah School of Dentistry, followed by a General Practice Residency at the George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City. She then completed advanced specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Surgery at UCLA.

During her specialty training, Dr. Subhani developed extensive experience in periodontal and implant surgery, bone grafting, soft tissue grafting, and periodontal plastic surgery. She was also actively involved in research in periodontics and implant dentistry, with her work receiving recognition at both the national and institutional levels.

Dr. Subhani believes that trust is essential to the doctor-patient relationship. She takes time to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and the reasoning behind her recommendations, encouraging questions so patients feel informed and involved in their decisions. Her approach combines thoughtful treatment planning with a focus on long-term health and predictable outcomes.

Outside the office, Dr. Subhani enjoys spending time with her husband, staying active, reading, exploring new cuisines, and spending time with her cats.
