Whitney VanDeutekom is the Office Manager at the Salt Lake City location, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in dentistry. She has been part of the dental field since 2006 and earned her associate degree while working full-time.

What Whitney enjoys most about her role is the daily interaction with patients — from meeting someone new to catching up with long-time patients and hearing their latest stories. She also enjoys assisting when the opportunity arises and values being part of a close, supportive team.

Patient comfort is especially important to Whitney. She takes time to explain what patients can expect, answer questions, and help them feel less nervous about their procedures. Having personally undergone some procedures with Dr. Thunell, she is also able to share her own experience when it may help reassure a patient.

Whitney wants every patient to feel comfortable, welcomed, listened to, and acknowledged from their first phone call through their final visit.

Calm, friendly, and always ready to help, Whitney enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, hiking, running, working out, and discovering her newest hobby — golf.
