Dr. Dan Thunell is a board-certified periodontist dedicated to helping patients preserve their natural teeth and restore oral health through advanced periodontal and implant care. His approach combines careful diagnosis, precise surgical technique, and long-term treatment planning.

Dr. Thunell is actively involved in dental education and has served on the faculty at the University of Utah School of Dentistry since 2012, where he provides both clinical and didactic instruction. He has also contributed to the school’s interdisciplinary dental implant clinic, helping train dentists in implant planning and treatment.
